Manchester Creative and Media Academies

The Manchester Creative and Media Academies (MC&MA) commissioned Impleo to design and install two inspirational learning zones and were looking to create flexible learning environments to accommodate various teaching styles.

Both the boys and girls academies opted for a large projection screen with four additional 46" LCD screens placed around the room.  With 15 PCs connected into the main system, work can be presented on any of the screens simultaneously and the entire room controlled with a hand-held touch screen interface. The academies aim to use the rooms for project based learning, allowing students access to multi-media content.  High quality work can then be displayed for discussion and comparison on the large and local screens.
